The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
